The minimum tour packages to Bhutan are set in US Dollars by the Royal Government of Bhutan, which needs to be paid prior to Bhutan visit.
Tour package is inclusive of all taxes and royalty. These rates are applicable per tourist per night halt in Bhutan. One time Visa fee is set at USD 40 per person.
The Minimum Daily Tour Packages as follow:
The peak season tariff (March, April, May, September, October and November)
Individual traveler – USD 250 + USD 40 as surcharge
Group of two – USD 250 + USD 30 as surcharge
Group of more than three – USD 250
The off season tariff (January, February, June, July, August and December)
Individual traveler – USD 200 + USD 40 as surcharge
Group of two – USD 200 + USD 30 as surcharge
Group of more than three – USD 200
The minimum daily package covers the following services:
Royalty and taxes
Toyota Coaster Bus for group of more than eight.
Toyota Hiace or Hyundai H1 for group of three to seven
Hyundai or Toyota SUV Cars for group of one or two.
Luggage van (if needed)
Accommodations in minimum 3 star hotels

There shall be no charge for CHILDREN below the age of 5 years. However, those between the ages of 5-12 years accompanied by elders/guardians shall be given 50% discount on Royalty. This Royalty is currently set at $65 per day.
Full time STUDENTS below the age of 25 years, holding valid identity cards from their academic institutions, shall also be given a 25% discount on the Royalty.
A discount of 50% on minimum daily package shall be given to one person in a group of 8 – 12 people. 100% discount shall be given to one member in a group exceeding 16 persons or more.
A 50% discount on Royalty shall be provided after the 8th night and 100% discount on Royalty shall be provided after the 14th night.
Visitors availing discounts under Sections a & b shall not be eligible for discount under (d).
On the day of departure, the ‘local agent’ host obligation shall be limited to providing breakfast only and any extra requirements shall be payable on usage basis.
The hotels and lodges we provide to our clients are approved by the Tourism Council of Bhutan, which are licensed caterer for international tourists.
The minimum daily package must be paid in US dollars prior to arrival in Bhutan.
Prior to your trip to Bhutan, the clients need to wire transfer the full tour payment for your holiday to Tourism Council of Bhutan.
You must wire the tour payment calculated by HAT Bhutan Tour as well as USD 40 (one time visa fee) to the Bhutan National Bank through one of their certified international partners with the Bhutanese tour operator specified as the ultimate beneficiary.
