Punakha (Sinchula) Winter Trek

The trek starts from Punakha crossing of the longest bridges in Bhutan near Punakha Dzong, following the ancient route to Thimphu. The trek offers a spectacular view of the dzong, which is also known as Guru’s Paradise. The trail passes through the villages, rice fields and forest across Sinchula Pass (3500m) presenting the hikers easy and warm trek. This trek could be done any time of the year.
Last night would be camping at Chorten Nyingpo, which is associated with the famous patron of Bhutan, Divine Madman or Lama Drukpa Kuenley. The car would pick you up the next morning from the camp site and drive to Punakha.
